Calusa Bay Design is a residential and commercial interior design boutique located in Naples Florida. We are a group of creative, talented, inventive design professionals whose passion is to create simply fabulous spaces. We are experienced in new construction from concept to completion, as well as residential renovation and commercial interior design. We can help with everything from window and roof tile selections, to room layouts, finish selections, cabinetry design, and of course, creating amazing, beautiful interiors. We strive to be thoughtful in our design, sometimes edgy, hopefully intuitive, graciously understated, and quietly sophisticated. RANDI SCOTT, MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASID, LICENSED INTERIOR DESIGNER
Randi currently serves as Managing Director of Calusa Bay Design, and has been an active member of the interior design industry in Naples and Bonita Springs since 2008. She has a National Council for Interior Design certification and also holds a Florida Interior Design License. Her participatory management style fosters a cohesive team at Calusa Bay Design, which transcends into efficiency and high value to our portfolio of clientele. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania, her involvement in the community and enthusiasm for design is used every day, from conceptual ideas to project completion. Randi uses a creative approach that is specifically focused on each client’s vision and style of living. Her design talents enable her to create a unique environment, and also functional, exceeding her clients’ expectations. Randi’s most favorite moment is at project reveal when her client sees their vision come to life for the very first time.
ELIZABETH BROWN, LEAD INTERIOR DESIGNER
Liz Brown, Lead Designer at Calusa Bay studied at Florida State University (CIDA and NASID accredited), where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design in 2013. After completing her education, she knew she wanted to return to her lifelong home of Naples, Florida, to begin her career. From pre-construction to completion, Liz is well-versed in all aspects of the interior design process. Building a strong rapport with her clients is one of her many strengths. Liz is both knowledgeable and experienced in CAD and Chief Architect. This skill set has proven to not only help her clients better visualize their needs and wants, but has also been critical in many designer-contractor working relationships.
DANIEL CORNEJO, ASSOCIATE INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
After developing his education and design-focus in Chicago, Daniel moved to Naples in 2015. Through many projects, he discovered a passion in the kitchen and bath realm of the design world. With a keen eye for detail, and an abundance of architectural and construction knowledge, Daniel returned to interiors with Calusa Bay Design. As the Associate Interior Architectural Designer, Daniel enjoys problem solving, detailing and delivering good design using construction documents as the vehicle for projects. When he is not designing a new space in the office, Daniel finds enjoyment building other creative skills, such as gardening and playing the piano.
Zoë Alfrey, Interior Designer Assistant
In 2018, Zoë began her education at New York Art and Design Institute studying interior and architectural design. Concurrently with her education, Zoë began her professional career working for a luxury custom home builder, which unearthed her passion for new home construction. As Zoë furthered both her education and career, she developed a strong desire to merge her love for design and construction, which made joining the Calusa Bay Design team a perfect fit. As Interior Design Assistant, Zoë assists our designers in all phases of a project, from pre-construction to completion. Her eagerness to create aesthetically pleasing homes for every client that walks through the door is enhanced by her vast attention to detail. When Zoë is not helping design new projects in the office, you can find her reading a book, hosting a dinner party or curating her perfect vinyl collection.
Emma Hiers, Purchasing Coordinator
Emma Hiers joins the Calusa Bay Design team with over thirty years of management experience throughout the financial industry. She began her career working on defined contribution plans for Alexander and Alexander Consulting Group’s New York office. Armed with a Masters in Finance from NYU, in the early 1990s she relocated from New Jersey to SouthWest Florida. Emma has owned and operated several successful franchised businesses throughout Florida, and is a former Guardian ad Litem for the 20th Judicial Court. Emma previously worked as an operations manager for a commercial interior design studio whose primary focus was the design and renovation of country clubs. She brings this commercial interior design experience to the the Calusa Bay team, where her responsibilities focus primarily on purchasing, in addition to ensuring the smooth operation of various processes that contribute to the organization.
Victoria Romeyn, Operations Manager
Victoria Romeyn was born and raised in Massachusetts, and most recently relocated from Los Angeles, CA to Naples. Over the last 18 years in California, Victoria built an impressive project management and real estate career. Growing up with her developer father, Victoria’s interest in the industry was piqued early on. She began her real estate career working with high-end developers in the Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, and Bel Air markets, which allowed her to develop and fine tune her skillset. With a focus on attention to detail throughout every step of the home building process, Victoria’s ability to manage high-end projects is unmatched. With her project management experience came the understanding and organization necessary to run large and small teams, leading Victoria to the next phase of her career as a Director of Operations for top performing real estate teams. She has worked with some of the most recognized brokers in Los Angeles, which translates to an extraordinary ability to provide concierge level service direct to Calusa Bay’s customers. Victoria elevates the design experience to create a seamless project from beginning to end for all parties involved.
YVONNE PACHECO, CONTROLLER
Yvonne began he career as a bookkeeper in New Jersey while going for her associates in Business Administration from Berkeley College. She moved down to Florida with her family and has worked as an accountant for various businesses while getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Hodges University. Yvonne has now worked over ten years as a Controller and Tax Accountant for a CPA firm both in Southwest Florida and Vero Beach. She has helped countless businesses with their finances and taxes. She has a Master’s Degree in taxation from the University of Phoenix and is currently studying for her CPA exam. Yvonne has two fury bulldog kids, Lola and Logan that bring her joy and love to her life every day. She shares a home with her Fiancé Patrick in Estero. They enjoy going to Fort Myers Beach, shows at Barbara B Mann and vacationing in the Caribbean.
LESLIE SHERMAN, PRINCIPAL
Leslie’s primary focus is in new construction and development. With numerous multimillion dollar residential projects to her credit, Leslie’s ability to create fabulous residential estate homes is undisputed. Currently focused primarily in Pelican Bay, Leslie divides her time between Calusa Bay Design; Calusa Bay Development, which specializes in luxury residential development; and Calusa Bay Properties, a boutique residential real estate brokerage company.
